Fiona Bunford

Was born in England where she trained as a Registered General Nurse at the Middlesex Hospital. She holds a Diploma in Theology & Pastoral Studies from London Bible College. Prior to moving to Zimbabwe in 2000 she worked in a variety of nursing settings in England and in a children’s AIDs hospice in Romania.  Since joining the team at Montgomery Heights as resident nurse, she has continued to expand her medical knowledge by completing short training courses in tropical medicine, advanced HIV care etc., and has established good relationships with various hospitals and medical specialists in order to help provide the best possible health care for the children and staff. As with the entire leadership team Fiona is actively involved on a day to day basis with the children and, in addition to her medical responsibilities and assisting in administrative areas, she frequently covers the 24/7 responsibilities of the care staff when they are on leave.
